Wednesday, 9:30 am Update

There's not much to report today. Yesterday was a fairly good day. They did get Steve's PIC line in ------ it was a pretty big ordeal, (almost a small surgery). About 9:30 last night they started his TPN which is his bag of nourishment. We asked for the steak flavor but you know how that goes!! It takes a full 24 hours for one bag of TPN to be administered and as soon as it is finished they start another one. It's full of calories (protein, carbs and fats) so Steve should start to perk up and feel much better today. The doctor is still saying we will probably go home on Friday. Lord, we pray for patience.

Thanks for the update. This blog is working great for all of us...
Maybe they can put some wine in that line, Steve!
Red or white?
Love,
Tina S.

Dear Paddy,
Thanks for the blog so we don't have to bother you with incessant phone calls.

Uncle Art is praying for you and we're hoping so much that the TPN will go to work and give him more strength to heal.

We'll keep in touch and look forward to getting a hug from Stevie when he's feeling more himself.
You take care....and save a hug for us, too.
Have you had a chance to 'feel bad about your neck'?????? I hope you found some laughs; they'd come in handy about now!
Love, Aunt Gin & Uncle Art
